I wanted to take you along with me on Yule. This is our holiday together as a couple that we always end with our journals. We set goals together as a couple and as individuals, which is what we do every seasonal holiday at our table. This table is pretty special too! My husband grew up with this table, his woodworking cousin gave it some much needed love before it came to us, and then we put our own mid century modern legs on it to make it ours. The embroidered cloths are pretty special too, the white one was my grandmother’s from the farm, and the red and black one was a recent gift from my mother in law from her collection of stunning Ukrainian embroidered cloths and runners.
But now that the day is done, and Olena has shown me that she forgives me by jumping up in front of my computer just now… I’m going to sign off for the night, and the year.
I see you all next year in 2020.
