Magic is always around us in various forms, being able to recognize it is the trick. It comes in the form of a warm breeze, on a fall day, a sighting of your favorite bird, or plants sprouting out of no where.
An amazing thing happened last week. While getting our patio ready for Summer, I discovered that a little seedling was growing in a spell jar from January that I left on the patio. The spell jar was suggested to me by Conjured Cardea. I have done this spell twice, both with desired results. Both times the spell was formulated to attract employment.
I have always been leery of money spells because I believe that you have to work for your money and should never try and get it for free, especially with magic. It feels too much like bad karma to me. Whenever I need money I always ask for help in finding employment so that I can make the money myself.
The first time I was able to attract a job for my partner. The second time I was able to attract a job for myself! I ended up attracting two jobs and made the decision to keep only one of them, which lead me to be able to do more of what I wanted to do with my professional life.
I’m not sure what is growing in the second spell jar, but I am very surprised and excited to see that nature has decided to fuse with my magical efforts to form some magic in a jar. Maybe its trying to tell me that what I’m doing for myself is finally a step down the right path.
